Birdies
So, I have found something I love more than scrapbooking... sewing. Scrapbooking is a never ending project for me and I get too far behind and then overwhelmed. With this, I can start and finish a project in a couple days. I've become a bit obsessed. Okay, VERY obsessed. I must share my recent project. I used the pattern from here to make these cute birds with leftover scrap fabric from Reagan's room decor.
The kids and I went to the park to find the most perfect branches to perch them on. This wasn't my idea, I copied it because I thought it was too cute. Then I hung them up in Reagan's room. Now she has a mobile to look at!
She LOVES it! After her nap today I could hear here chatting away at her new found friends, aww. The only flaw... it is too accessible to the two ruffians in my house. I must mentally prepare myself to find my hard work destroyed.

I saw this on a girl's blog (www.homemadebyjill.blogspot.com has cute projects) and started the little birdies too. I have yet to make more. Do you hand sew yours or use a machine? I like how you use pinking shears for the tails:) Great job!
I love them! I feel the same way about scrapbooking...how will I ever have enough time to get caught up. So I never try:) Some day.
