We all have caught a creative fever around here, it's contagious you know!
So, I have an obsession with tails. I can't stop thinking about tails since I made the kids their cheetah, zebra, and giraffe tails. They LOVE them. Who knew a simple waist accessory could transform someone into an animal… and I mean WILD animal. Jefferson is even convinced he can run 75mph with the tail on. Here is a picture of Reagan wearing the Mermaid tail that she got for her birthday.
I found these "Groovy Girls" dolls at Goodwill for $1 each…. Naked. So I made these dresses for them.
I've had a lot of fun repurposing women's skirts into dresses for Reagan. Here is Reagan modeling one of the dresses I made.
I made a decoration for Valentines Day. I got the idea HERE.
Shawn even caught the fever and was making stuff….well one thing. We had these ugly shutters sitting around and something had to be done with them. So, Shawn made a bulletin board. He did an AWESOME JOB! I spray painted it bright pink because it matches the valance I made in the kitchen window and because pink just makes me happy.
The kids recently made this volcano and were fascinated to see it erupt…over and over and over again.
This is a picture of Wally, the boy's robot… that they made out of paper. After it was made, it never left Jefferson's side. He talked about the robot like it was a real person. He played with him and even slept with him. This lasted until his limbs got ripped off and his head got smashed. Poor Wally wasn't very strong.
Note: I've put my sewing machine in the closet. If you know me well, you know what a BIG deal this is. A very very big deal. The sewing machine has been a member of our family… sitting right there on the kitchen table with us. I decided it was time to take a break. That means all the millions of project ideas in my head are going to have to wait.

Do I need to start calling Reagan, Ariel, now? or the Little Mermaid? The tail really accents her "coolie"!!
Aren't you going to tell everyone why the sewing machine is put away?
