7 years is a big age difference between a brother and sister. But as we get older, I feel like the gap is shrinking a little. At least, I don't feel as inclined to treat you like my child. It's true, you've grown up a lot. You graduated and have been spending this last year working and figuring things out for yourself. Now, you're joining the Air Force.... WOW! We couldn't be more excited for you and hope for the best in that pursuit. I miss your sarcasm and attitude which have always livened up get-togethers. I know the kids miss you too. As for Shawn.... of course, he misses you as well :-) The boys are always talking about their "Uncle Ian" especially at night when they put on their superhero pajamas. You're a cool guy, Ian. Your an awesome brother, friend, uncle, son (to your parents, not your sister :-). We just wanted to wish you this happy birthday.
