Kids on the town

I'm not the only one who's been lucky enough to go to the theater.

My good friend, Molly (who is too amazing for words) has been teaching a drama class for the past couple months. The boys have really enjoyed participating. She decided to end her class with a trip to the theater. This last week we took the kids to the Portland Children's Theater to see...

Here's our gang walking through downtown Portland. Everyone held hands, stuck together, and despite getting wrong directions, it was easier than expected.

I thought this was an adorable picture of Jefferson holding hands with his friend, Miles.

Molly's Theater Troupe, official with name tags and all! Jen, Molly, and I brought (from left to right) Hope, Grant, Jacob, Miles, Jemma, Apollo, and Jefferson

The kids seated and ready for the show to start.

The show was a perfect choice for this boy, who LOVES the book the play was based on and ANYTHING having to do with wolves.

Jefferson and I next to a picture of the main character, Alexander T. Wolf.

I can't wait to take the kids to another play at the Children's Theater. It was so well done. Not to mention, HILARIOUS. I was cracking up. There was singing and dancing, and audience participation. The play took place in a court room and we, the audience were the jury. Our job was to decide if the wolf was innocent or guilty of the crime of killing the little pigs. We found him "not guilty", although I heard Grant oinking and squealing for him to be guilty. Huh? maybe he doesn't like wolves as much as we thought.
