Big girl bike

She's riding a 2 wheeler now!

All credit must be given to her practice bike. She mastered her balance within a couple days on the thing. But getting her off of it was not easy. She loves that training bike and rides it every day and home from school. But it was time for her to try her 'big girl' bike. It took about 10 minutes, then she was flying....
Look at that smile!

Yep, now she's a Big Shot.....

It was raining but she could not be stopped. She rode and rode and rode.

I took about 100 pictures! She was not amused. She told me, "I'm not smiling anymore!"

This is how Reagan parks her bike. I think it's clever. Unless she can't get the pedal aligned just right and she throws a fit. Then it becomes obsessive.

And what did the boys do while their sister rode her bike in the rain? They took shelter in some discarded cardboard. They pretended to be animals and went out into the wild to collect food, then brought it back to their "home." Cardboard still entertains them... I love it!

yah for 2 wheelers! now she can learn tricks from the boys and keep up and i'm sure the 3 of them will get in all sorts of trouble. :)

Isn't it amazing to witness the "little" things bringing such great joy - mastering pedaling on a bike, or successfully transforming a cardboard box into a fortress......lessons to heed, here!

Fantastic, Reagan! Are you guys still in the Grove? And where did you move to? We need to start planning fun things to do around graduation when we all get back together.
