Easter Crafts

We've been busy making some Easter crafts, thought I would share them...because I'm totally obsessed with crafts!
I wanted to make Easter baskets for all the kids. I found a darling tutorial here. It was super easy to make, but took forever, so I only got Reagan's finished. I ended up just buying the boys an Easter basket.
This year I really wanted to make their Easter eggs too. I found this egg and pattern. I made a bunch, but not enough for hunting, so we did buy some plastic eggs to fill with some good loot. These ones only hold about 1-2 jelly beans each in the pocket.I love how stylish they look hidden.... I'm sure my kids care :-)My FAVORITE kids magazine, Family Fun featured a fun activity to do with plastic eggs. So, the boys and I made Eggimals.... so fun! They glued on pieces of ears, legs, and tails to the eggs. To make these adorable dogs, cats, skunks, mice, and one pig! Have you ever seen any cuter eggs? Then, Jefferson drew on faces on his. The boys played with these ALL afternoon. I love anything that keeps their attention, so I LOVE THESE!I didn't have any Christ centered Easter decorations. That was until I found this garland. I just had to make one for my house.

Speaking of crafts, my felt pirate map on etsy finally sold. I am so excited! We weren't quite sure anyone would be interested, but sure enough, someone was. Hmmm, should I make more? I don't know. It's really cool to have $60. Of course, I don't get to keep it because I told Shawn I would pay off my sewing machine (which cost a lot) with any money I made. Man, I forgot I had said that... he remembered though!
