Kid eyes

I've been driving Jefferson to school and picking him up every day since he started school in Sept. I'm not going to try to count the days, but twice a day for 8 months.... that's a lot. Whenever we get to a certain turn in the road Reagan always shouts "Dot-a-doo-doh-doo." It took me a while to figure out she was saying "Cock-a-doodle-doo." It's taken me even longer to figure out why. After twice a day for 8 months I FINALLY figured it out today! This is a picture of what we see out the front of the car as we make the turn....

You see it, don't you? And it probably only took you one glance. I don't know why it took me so long to see that old stump for what it clearly is..... a rooster.

Children see the world with such imaginative eyes. Who knows what kind of other amazing things Reagan sees…

That is so cute! It would have taken me a really long time to figure that one out too...sometimes I get so caught up in reality that I forget about using my imagination. Thank goodness for our kids bringing us back to a better place! :)
