The Easter Bunny left 100 eggs out in a field near our house. After conference we took the kids outside so they could go on a hunt for the eggs. It lasted about 10 minutes. I was certain we'd be there longer… I sure underestimated those kids. It was cold, and muddy…. Perfect conditions for an egg hunt if you ask me.
Grant, Miles, and Jefferson looking for eggs. My boys don't look too happy… I think it's because their baskets are still empty…. Or maybe because they know they need haircuts.
Jefferson, and Hattie
Reagan would not get out of Shawn's arms to look for eggs.
He would put her down, and she would just stand there…. Staring at eggs in plain sight.
She was in a moody mood. See what I mean…
NO, I will NOT smile!
(I always think taking a picture with a moody child will cheer them up…. But it alway backfires!)
Grant sure had fun! Yes… I think a haircut is definitely overdue
He was so excited to get to the candy that he was biting those eggs open
Miles, showing his loot of candy. And Molly with her daughter, Hattie
Why are simple holiday traditions SO MUCH fun? Everything is so magical and believable…. I miss that.
Molly shouted "oh, look, there's the Easter Bunny" and everyone tried to catch a glimpse. Look at their faces…. I love it! Oh, I just wanted to be in their heads for that moment.

I love LOVE the picture of you and Reagan. It is awesome! Gotta love those egg hunts! I am glad that the boys had fun!
Those were great pictures but I was really hoping for another video like last years. You know the one where you take one of your kids out during the Easter egg hunt. I love the pic of Grant holding his Easter basket. For some reason it just reminds me of the 80's. I don't know if it's the hair or the boots:)
