Garden residents

We went to grab a hose at our garden when a bird flew away, right in front of us. It scared me and the kids! Then we saw this nest. We have never seen the mommy again, hopefully she hasn't abandoned her little eggs…. Aren't they cute? I have to hoist the kids up every day to see the eggs, then talk to them and explain that 'no, we cannot bring them home.' What a place to build a nest!
