It's never too late in the season to play in the snow, right?
The kids have been begging to visit Mt. Hood so yesterday we took the drive up there. It took us about 1 ½ hours to get there, not too bad. We stopped at Government Camp….
Bundled up…. And ran wild in the snow…
These 2 boys had a ton of fun. "This is better than Chuck-e-cheese" - Jefferson.
"This is better than the beach…… no, this is better than anything in the whole world!" - Grant
This girl, on the other hand, didn't have much fun. Snow = torture! She was happy just sitting in the car while we played.
I think the boys could have stayed in the snow all day long. They were busy building…..

The pictures all show Grant getting hit…. he was just laughing too hard to retaliate.
After a while, we slowly trickled into the car with Reagan. First Shawn wimped out…. Then me (it was pretty darn cold, and rainy). Eventually Grant got tired too, which left Jefferson outside by himself. He played for a good half hour more. We almost had to drag him into the car when it was time to go. He's not just my Beach Bum any more…. Now he's my Snow Bunny too.

Dang cute. Looks like a super fun time. My oldest is the only one who's ever played in snow...and that was when he was one. My two others have only seen it on TV. Sad.
