Folsom Lake

Here are some pictures to share from our visit to Folsom Lake. The day started out really cloudy and cold, but it turned out to be beautiful. The morning weather must have scared a lot of people away, because there was hardly anyone there.

Reagan just adores her Aunt and Uncle. Clarissa was the only one brave enough to take Reagan to the waters edge. It was Fa-ree-zing!

What a cute couple. See, now the sun is coming out...

I challenged Ian and Clarissa to a race to the buoys and back. I must have forgotten that I'm not a swimmer. It was exhausting. The buoys don't look that far, but believe me, they are!

We made it back. No, I didn't win. I know, you're surprised, especially since I lugged the floaty along with me. I actually thought I might drown without it.

Reagan (pouty face) with her Uncle. She is half mermaid and was pooped from swimming.

 Stealing kisses!

Oh, and the boys? They spent most of the day on this raft. I hardly saw them at all. What a great babysitter the raft is. We're getting good use out of that thing!

It was a fun day. Actually, what Summer day isn't? We're having a blast. Lake, river, pool, river, lake, pool, pool, pool, lake, river, pool, pool, pool, lake, pool.....
that pretty much sums up our summer.... with maybe a few more pools and another lake in there.
