Little Guppies

Our days are numbered here. We've been having a blast! I'm just starting to feel a little stressed. There's a long list in my head of things we haven't done. Have I visited everyone I wanted to see? um, no. Have I taken enough pictures? I don't think so. And, I certainly haven't taken enough videos! Anyways, I will probably be overloading you with post after post to finish up our summer vacation here in CA before we leave.

With that said...

There's a path through Shawn's parents property that leads to a nearby pool. If it's a hot day and you can't find us... that's where we are. The kids LOVE walking to the pool. Here's the boys, all geared up and ready to go.

 I think I've only taken my camera to the pool twice, so I don't have many pictures. But here are the few I have...

The boys are getting much better at swimming, but I make them keep their life jackets on. Mostly so I can be lazy and not watch them like a hawk. Reagan wears her floaties and is fearless in the water.

 Resting by the pool. After swimming for a while, the kids like to lay on the cement to dry off. I don't know how they lay there without burning to death... I can hardly walk across it.

My kids want to go swimming every single day. I think they're actually growing gills. And they want to go even more when their Uncle James is there to play games with them and throw them into the water. Because I frankly am the party-pooper when it comes to swimming. We'll really miss not having a pool so close.
